ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will begin Part 3 of Fahrenheit 451. Students will be taking an exam once we finish reading the novel. We will conclude the week with watching the movie Fahrenheit 451. Please make sure students have turned in permission slip for movie.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
This week we will review both volume and surface area of cylinders cones and prisms. Our Test on this unit will be Wednesday.
Algebra I
This week Algebra will review adding subtracting and multiplying polynomials. Our test on this unit will be on Wednesday.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
Classroom wish list ;-)
This week we will be doing an introduction to Biodiversity. We will discuss what biodiversity is and why it is important to the health of an ecosystem. Biodiversity is essential for the processes that support all life on Earth, including humans. Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely on to provide us with the air we breathe and the food we eat.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be finishing their Hunger PBL. We will conclude the week by watching the movie McFarland and answering questions based on challenges faced by migrant farm workers.

This week we will students will be working on the production aspect of their "how to" video project. Now that they've created scripts and storyboards it is time for them to take their ideas and put them on camera. Students will be using our broadcast studio and green screen to film their videos.
Please remind your students to bring their props so that filming goes smoothly.

This week students will do a short detour into the world of fashion. We will study fashion through the decades and finish off the week back in Animation, learning the basics of Adobe Animate! The students did AMAZING with their Pivot animations, ask them to show you!!!!!!!!!!
