ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will be reading part 2 of Fahrenheit 451. Students will be responsible for study guide questions. A short quiz will also be assigned after each part of the novel is completed.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
This week we will continue practicing surface area of prism (rectangular and triangular) and cylinders. Lateral and Total surface area.
Algebra I
This week Algebra will continue practicing polynomial operations. (adding, subtracting and multiplying)

7th grade Honors SCIENCE

This week we will be reviewing and getting ready for our Adaptation and Classification Unit Test on Thursday, February 29th. We will then be doing an introduction to Biodiversity and the role it plays on the health of an ecosystem.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be finishing their frontier unit and moving on to a two week cross-curricular Problem Based Learning Unit on Hunger. Our class will focus on the roles and challenges migrant farm workers face in Texas and also in the United States. We will end the unit by watching the movie McFarland right before Spring Break.

This week we will students will begin storyboarding and script writing as we prepare to go into our broadcast studio to film. Students will be preparing "How To" Videos using the entire production process from start to finish. They will apply what we've learned about preparation, filming, editing and distribution.
