ELAR 7th Grade

Honors and GT English

This week we will continue reading the novel Fahrenheit 451. Students will be responsible for study guide questions as we are reading. Students will have a quiz after each part of the novel is completed.

MATH

7th Grade Math Honors 

This week we will begin learning and practicing surface area of 3 dimensional objects. (triangular and rectangular prisms, and cylinders).

Algebra I 

This week Algebra will begin learning exponential functions to include growth and decay as well as key features of the exponential graph.

This week we are learning about classification and how to use  Dichotomous Keys. This will bring us to the end of your Adaptation and Classification Unit! The EOU test will be towards the end of the month!

Honors Texas History

This week students will be learning about events that led to the frontier closing. We will focus on the growth of railroads and the relocation of Native Americans onto reservations. We will also discuss the importance of buffalo soldiers building forts and roads.

Digital Media

This week we will continue our unit on the stages of production. Students are diving into learning about Pre-Production which focuses on the planning process of video production. This often includes researching, script writing, and storyboarding.
