This week we will begin reading the novel, Fahrenheit 451. Students will be responsible for study guide questions for each chapter.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
This week we will learn how to find the volume of spheres and prisms while exploring the formulas components.
Algebra I
This week we will solve quadratic equations using square roots, factoring and the quadratic formula.

This week we are learning about Natural Selection and Selective Breeding. We will be talking about Darwin his Theory of Natural Selection and the Galapagos Island Finches and how their beaks evolved to adapt to the type of food they had available!

Honors Texas History
This week students will be finishing the unit on the Civil War and turning their attention to Reconstructing the South. We will discuss how Texas was readmitted to the United States and also how sharecropping took the place of slavery in the South.

This week students will be learning about the stages of production. We will dive into pre-production where students will learn about script writing and storyboarding. In preparation for creating our long form video project. To create this project students will have the opportunity to use our green screen studio to film.

This week students we will begin our Animation unit. We will create a flipbook animation to make the connection of how frames are the building blocks of animation. We may explore Google Slides Animations and Pivot Animator. If you email me a cat meme, I will give you extra credit.
