Honors and GT English
This week we will continue our argumentative unit. We will be analyzing the argumentative structure in media. Students will choose a topic they are passionate about and begin their outline for their argument.
MATH
7th Grade Math Honors
This week we are going to continue transformations with focus on the attributes of dilations.
Algebra I
This week will continue quadratic functions and graph parabolas using the vertex and a point.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE

This week we will be continuing our study of genetics by learning about alleles and genotypes and phenotypes. Students will have several opportunities to practice these skills through a variety of activities.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be starting the road to the Civil War. We will be looking at various territorial acquisitions and how the balance between slave and free states affected the development of the West.

This week students will continue learning different skills and tools in Adobe Premiere. They will be learning to use the text and transitions tool by adding captions to MLK's "I Have A Dream" speech in honor of MLK JR day.

Belle's Sugar Skull using Adobe Illustrator
AV Comm w/ Mrs. Leyva
This week students will continue exploring and using Adobe Illustrator. They are making great progress and have learned many of the tools and capabilities this program offers. We are continuing with our Robot Campaign. Students will create a BRAND for their robot, including a name, a catchphrase, and social media marketing materials. Students will prepare for the presentation, by the end of the week.
