Welcome back! This week we will begin Unit 4, the argumentative unit. Students will be learning how to create an effective argument. They will learn how generate a claim with clarity, the validity of evidence, the logic behind reasoning, and the use of rhetorical devices.

Welcome Back!!! can you believe we are halfway through the year already!!! The second semester will go even faster than the first as it is jam packed with all sorts of interesting topics!!
We start off this week with Genetics and Heredity. We will cycle back to the cell and talk about where DNA is found and the important code that it carries!

Honors Texas History
This week students will be comparing the presidencies of Sam Houston, Mirabeau Lamar, and Anson Jones. We will end the week with Texas being annexed into the United States.

Welcome Back! Can't believe we're already half way through the school year.
This week students will be refreshing their knowledge of Adobe Premiere as we get started on learning all about Video Production. If you're student has not turned in their camera agreement form that was sent home last semester-- I will be sending one more copy home this week. It needs to be signed and returned so they can use the cameras during these next few units.

This week we will be creating household robots! Have you ever imagined a robot to do your laundry? Clean the dishes? Even take the dog for a walk? Well, the students will have the space to use their imagination to create a robot to complete household chores. We will pitch our robots to a small group just like on the hit TV show Shark Tank!
