Honors and GT English

This week we will be working on Constructed responses. We will go over all the components that are necessary to answer open ended questions using the ACE method.

We will also be visiting the Book fair in the library on Tuesday 12/5.

7th Grade Honors

We will be practicing pythagorean Theorem (finding the missing length of a right triangle) and converse pythagorean theorem.

Algebra

We will continue reviewing for the semester Exam which will be right before winter break.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE

Classroom wish list ;-)

This week we will finish up our body systems unit with the digestive and excretory systems. We will then be reviewing for our end of unit test!

Honors Texas History

This week students will be completing bios on Santa Anna and Juan Seguin. We will be taking notes over specific battles of the Texas Revolution and also analyzing primary sources from the Battle of the Alamo.

This week students will be focusing on symmetry in graphic design by creating snowflakes in photoshop. They will then apply what they've learned by creating holiday cards.

On Monday we will review the Career Exploration unit and on Tuesday we will have a unit test. To end the week, we will explore Adobe Illustrator's user interface and tools of the program. We will make graphics paying our respects to victims of the Holocaust. Through reflection on our grade-level holocaust projects, I hope to create a memorial site for the fallen victims.
