ELAR 7th Grade
Honors and GT English
This week we will continue reading the novel Down a Dark Hall. Students will be responsible for five study guide questions for each chapter, these questions will be posted on Google classroom. There will be an Exam on the novel once we have finished reading in class.
MATH
7th Grade Honors
We enter a new grading period while continuing this critical unit on proportional and non proportional functions.
Algebra 1
This week is the start of a new grading period and the start on a new unit: writing linear equations. Although the unit is technically new, it is closely related to the previous unit.

7th grade Honors SCIENCE
Classroom wish list ;-)
This week we are talking all about how human body systems interact! Students will be expected to know, by the end of the unit, all 11 body systems as well as their main structures and functions. Need a refresher?? Check out this amoeba sister video.

Honors Texas History
This week students will be taking their Unit 2 Test. We will review for it and material will be attached to Google Classroom. We will end the week talking about why people from the United States came to Mexican-Texas.

This week we will continue Career Exploration! Working on all of the components of submitting an application, role playing, and constructing masterpieces! Students will read and explore different job descriptions and then make their own. We will continue to look at examples of cover letters, resumes, and thank you letters. The next step will be creating our own.
