ABOUT ME -  Hello, my name is Sanjana, and I chose this topic because there are so many stray animals in my community. It pains me to see them sick, hungry, and thirsty, with no one to help them. Whenever someone in my community sees a stray animal, they either get scared and pick up something to defend themselves, look at them angrily, or simply walk past them without any emotion. Even my brother was afraid of them. However, I have always felt a connection with strays—they seem so sweet and loving. I have petted many stray dogs in my area, yet people always told me they were dangerous and would bite. But no one ever took the time to understand their side of the story. Now, through this project, I have the opportunity to help them by raising awareness and taking action on their behalf.
