Neyamukil K. M

 Neyamukil K M. I am studying in Grade 5 B at Neev Academy. 

My father, Mukundh Nagarajan, is a Senior Principal consultant in Infosys. He is one of the famous poets in Tamil. My mother, Karthika Mukundh, is a writer and a freelance copy editor. She has published poetry collections and short story collections.

I like playing chess, Monopoly, Othello, Pallanguzhi, Thayakattam, Goat and Tiger (Aadu puli aattam) and Toy theatre.

My interests are reading, writing, poetry especially, crochet, playing keyboard and ukulele. 

My bookshelf contains many books; apart from fantasy genre, mostly on space and marine life.

Other than these, my hobbies are collecting feathers, shells, different kinds of rocks, pencil leads and stamps. 

My favourite subjects are Mathematics, Science and Literature. I have also learnt to read and write in my mother tongue Tamil.

I like watching Bio-pic movies and reflecting on them. I have written passages on ‘The Help’ movie and ‘Out of my mind’ movie.

I like travelling to places especially to Coonoor and Chennai. One of the main reasons I like going to Coonoor is the Bandhipur forest which is on the way. I see monkeys, elephants, deers and peacocks. Once a monkey took a sugar pack from the tea tray on our lawn table. Interesting incidents like this makes me enjoy the trip there. These kinds of experiences inspire me to write poetry.

When I grow up, I hope to be an astronaut, fashion designer, inventor, doctor, writer, marine biologist, mathematician and a product designer.
