My name is Kabir, and I love playing football. I was born in the U.S., and when I was in K1, some people thought it was unusual. Even now, in Grade 5, I find myself still exploring this part of my identity and asking questions about why it has stayed with me. This journey has helped me understand more about myself and how our experiences shape who we are. I chose this topic because I have experienced what it feels like to be seen as different, and I want to understand how identities are formed and how we can create spaces where everyone feels accepted.
