About Me
Hi! My name is Riya Bopanna and I am 11 years old. I am currently studying in 5th grade, Neev Academy, Bangalore. Many years ago my grandparents moved from an agricultural land known as Coorg. I have lived my whole life in the busy city of Bangalore.
I like reading books because it makes my imagination go wild and recharges my brain. When I read I become people I have never been and I go places I have never been before. I also like to dance and play the piano because I enjoy making up notes and steps as I go along.
About a year ago when I was reading a book I came across an inspiring quote “ Fortune Favors the Brave”. It means that when you are brave lots of great things can happen to you. I am not completely brave yet but I want to be brave enough to face my fears and admit my mistakes. I believe that even small acts of bravery can take you a long way.
This year will be my final year in PYP and I am currently in the middle of my PYP exhibition journey. Through this exhibition I want to showcase the 5 elements of PYP. For my exhibition I chose the topic “The Impact Of Technology” and to be more specific “The ways in which technology impacts the way we think and live”. As a medium to express my thoughts, ideas and feelings I chose Poetry.This exhibition has made me grow into an independent learner and has given me the chance to display my learning from the entire PYP.
