Selina lived with her three other sibilings and her parents in a small condo in Chinatown, Singapore. Her family only had two bedrooms, a small living space, a kitchen, and one bathroom. Space was very limited but her family did a lot to make the most out of their condo. The living room was a place for her family to bond, they had a huge praying stand with statues of gods that they could pray to every night for good luck. Sometimes, her family would go on family outings to pray to the Buddhist gods at various temples across Singapore. FOr her education, She attended Saint Margaret's Secondary School and loved competing with her tennis team. Her father was a stock broker and her mother was an entrepreneur that sold clothes and accessories. After school, she would walk with her sisters to her mother's business at her local mall where she helped her mom or worked on her homework.
During the weekends, with her sisters she would go to various malls in walking distance or they would take the public bus to go shopping. They would also go eat at the Hawker Centers; which is an outside food court where people eat their breakfast, lunch, or dinner. All kinds of food are sold here such as: rice and chicken, shaved ice (desert), putu mayam, etc. Sometimes, the would go to sentosa where they would go on roller coaster rides. Most of the time her sisters and her would go to the library and study for school.
