Yavne

After about 35 years in America, Sabrina decided to move back to her home country of Israel. Two of her kids also moved back, and one stayed in the United States, living in Santa Barbara. For Sabrina, the largest reason she decided to move back to Israel was family. “Family was a very big factor for me to move back to Israel because … I don’t see myself growing old without my family, and so we moved”. Family is so important to Sabrina, that during her 35 years in America, they still made time to see family. “Every year, we traveled and visited our family in Israel for a month [in the] summer”, Sabrina said that on these trips her kids “Met all their cousins and became very very close to them, and it made sense for [her kids] to go back to Israel”. 

Sabrina now lives in Yavne which is about 35 minutes south of Tel Aviv, where 2 of her kids live. She is also extremely close to both her 2 sisters and her brother, all within 15 minutes of Yavne. Lastly, Sabrina is able to enjoy Israel's climate again.
