Sabrina was born in Bat Yam, Israel in 1959. Bat Yam is a suburb of Tel Aviv, and is located close to the Mediterranean Sea. Bat Yam was abandoned during the Arab riots of 1929, however has since been resettled, and had a large population increase in the 1950s. Bat Yam translates to “daughter of the sea” due to its close proximity to the beautiful Mediterranean. When Sabrina turned 18, she served in the Israeli Defense Force, and completed her mandatory service of 2 years. Afterwards Sabrina got married and had 2 of her 3 children - Lior and Nir.
