Student-Athlete Medical Clearance
Student-Athlete Medical Clearance
Student-Athletes must be cleared by a Needham High School Athletic Trainer to be eligible to participate.
Students who have seen a physician or other healthcare provider for a sports related injury or medical condition must submit a doctor's note to the trainer.
The trainer will review the note and determine if the student is cleared to participate. (see steps to the right)
Student-athletes who see their physician with or withought referral are not cleared until they receive a clearance note from their doctor. Athletic Trainer has the final say on athletic clearance.Â
