Hello! My name is Audrey Stein DeLaney and I am the school-wide counseler at Mitchell, serving grades K-5. In my role, I also develop and coordinate our school-wide social-emotional learning and mental health program and serve as one of the Section 504 coordinators.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and am heading into my fifth year at Mitchell. I have an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from Hamilton College and my masters degree in Social Work from Boston College. In addition to my time at Mitchell, I have worked in a variety of settings with preschool to college-aged students. I have passion for social-emotional learning and school-based mental health support so all students can learn and feel their best at school!
Hello! My name is Nancy Goldstein and I am the part-time counselor at Mitchell. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have been at Mitchell School since the fall of 2006.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology from Clark University and a Masters degree in Social Work from Simmons College.
Before coming to Mitchell, I worked for many years at a child and family community mental health center in Boston and in the Boston Public Schools. Actually, this has been my second involvement at Mitchell School. My first experience with the school was as a parent when my two children, now grown, were Mitchell students themselves!
Margot joins the counseling department at Mitchell as an intern in her first year field placement at Boston College School of Social Work. She will be at Mitchell on Mondays and Tuesdays providing counseling support to students and classrooms. We are so grateful to have her!
