While the majority of his story was lost in the process of immigration, the perseverance, and effort that Hyung Ju showed in his journey lives on. Many other immigrants share similar stories of traveling all around the US looking for a community that fits them right. Thankfully, his story, and many other immigrant stories, can be told as a success story, as the Lim family is still going strong. Tae Young's grandkids, Chanu and Amy are very successful in their own rights, continuing their grandfather's legacy. Amy is a computer science major at UMass and Chanu is an accomplished skier, boxer, and saxaphonist. Amy graduated from Needham High in 2020 and Chanu will follow her footsteps in 2023, and continue their family's Korean traditions wherever they go.
