Hello HOH Families and Staff,
The Horizon-on-the-Hudson Magnet School's PTO and REACH (Raising Equity, Access, & Culture at Horizons) Team invite you to please join us THIS Friday, March 26th at 7 pm for a Women's History Month Celebration on Facebook Live (@hohpto).
We have invited some of the many inspiring women making a difference in Newburgh to tell us about the work they do and their talents and skills that make it possible.
Please Note: You do not need a Facebook account to watch.

El grupo de PTO y REACH (Aumento de la equidad, el acceso y la cultura en Horizons) de Horizon-on-the-Hudson Magnet School lo invita a unirse a nosotros ESTE viernes 26 de marzo a las 7 pm para Celebrando el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer en Facebook Live (@hohpto).
Hemos invitado a algunas de las mujeres inspiradoras que marcan la diferencia en Newburgh para que nos cuenten sobre el trabajo que hacen y sus talentos y habilidades que lo hacen posible.
Tenga en cuenta: no necesita una cuenta de Facebook para mirar.
Dear HOH Families, Staff, and Members of the Newburgh Community,
The HOH PTO and REACH Team are collaborating to host a month-long program in February for Black History Month. One book, oral history or story that celebrates black culture will be presented at 7 pm every night of the month of February on the HOH PTO's Facebook Live (@hohpto). In the case of books, a short discussion about the book should follow, perhaps what it means to the reader(s). If your child is in-person at HOH, you may ask him/her to go to the library to get help with the selection of an appropriate book to share. Presentations should be pre-recorded, be school-age and content-appropriate and no longer than 20 minutes.

El PTO de HOH y el equipo REACH están colaborando para organizar un programa de un mes en febrero para el mes la historia Afroamericana. Un libro, historia oral o cuento que celebra la cultura Afroamericana se presentará a las 7 pm todas las noches del mes de febrero en el Facebook Live de HOH PTO (@hohpto). En el caso de los libros, debe seguir una breve discusión sobre el libro, tal vez lo que significa para el lector o lectores. Si su hijo está en persona en HOH, puede pedirle que vaya a la biblioteca para obtener ayuda con la selección de un libro apropiado para compartir. Las presentaciones deben estar pregrabadas, ser adecuadas para la edad escolar y el contenido y no deben durar más de 20 minutos.
