Course Fees

$150.00- Theatre Course Fee (paid only one time)

$30.00- Production Fee (paid per play/musical)

Fees are used to pay for:

• Show Royalties

• Classroom supplies

• Region/State Competition

  • Travel (Bus)

  • Competition Fees

  • Lunch

  • Costumes, Furniture, Props, etc.

• Socials

• Marketing: including posters, banners, ads, shirts, stickers, etc.

• Guest artists/workshops

• Free tickets to all plays at Nebo District High Schools

• Show Building Materials

  • Lumber, paint, tools, hardware, etc.

  • Supplemental costumes, fabric, craft material, tools, maintenance, etc.

  • Lighting instruments, cables, software, lamps, etc.

  • Microphones, lavs, batteries, speakers, maintenance, etc.

  • Props, makeup, hair accessories, etc.

First Quarter

• Shakespeare Preview Performance - Wed, Oct 1 @7:00pm

• Shakespeare Competition - Oct 2-4

• Hamlet/Book of Will - Mon, Oct 13 (during class)

Second Quarter

• Diary of a Wimpy Kid Tech - Nov 6-12 & 18-19 (see calendar for class specific dates/times)

• Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Nov 13-22 @7:00pm (see calendar for class specific performances)

• Gorge Performance of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (MDT 1) - Mon, Nov 24 @8:00pm

• Attend Play/Musical in the Community - Oct-Dec (due last day of 2nd quarter)

Third Quarter

• Hamlet/Midsummer Tech - Jan 5-27 from 6:00-9:00pm

• Hamlet Longest Days - Jan 10 & 19 from 10:00am-5:00pm

• Midsummer Longest Days - Jan 17 & 24 from 10:00am-5:00pm

• Hamlet Preview - Wed, Jan 21 @7:00pm

• Hamlet Performances - Jan 22-26 @7:00pm

• A Midsummer Night’s Dream Preview - Wed, Jan 28 @7:00pm

• A Midsummer Night’s Dream Performances - Jan 29-Feb 2 @7:00pm

Fourth Quarter

• Book of Will Tech - Wed, March 18 @6:00-9:00pm
