Chicago Theatre Tour

Skyhawk Theater participates in a performance arts and history/culture trip each year.  All theater students and their parents are invited to join us!

We have previously travelled to Salt Lake City (2025), New York City (2024), and Chicago (2023)

Skyhawk Theater and the Performance Arts classes at Salem Hills High School regularly travel out of state to see live professional theatre, visit historical sites, and to experience other cities that many students would not get to see otherwise.  These trips are essential for a well-rounded theatre education.  Such experiences expand student's knowledge, revitalize passion, develop empathy, and show them diverse and possible career options they can pursue.  It is also a huge part of team building and skill development within our program.

Refund Policy

If we have learned anything from the past few years it's that nothing is certain. If these events are canceled, due to forces beyond anyone's control, students will be refunded.  However, especially with travel and performance tickets, much of the trip will be purchased in advance.  We will not be able to refund individuals if they choose to back out of attending.  A student's payment is their commitment to attend the event.

Participant Safety

There will be a minimum of 1 adult chaperone per 8 student participants. Students will be protected and taken care of during the trips. Students will never be permitted to be alone and must check-in with chaperones often.
