Transfer Tasks

• Complete the "Transfer Task" for any/all of the three lesson plan strategies (see the presentation and link to handouts/examples/tasks).
• Reflection: Are you prepared with lessons plans for your first days of school? What additional support/resources do you need to help you with your lesson planning? Email your response to your mentor.
• Identify 3 lessons within the time frame of the first unit or two weeks that would represent the 3 types of lesson plans (Direct Instruction, Guided Learning, Inquiry). Create a brief outline for each lesson. Label each one with the name of the three different lesson plan types and send them to your mentor. You may use the Generic Lesson Plan Template.

Transfer Tasks

• Get a curriculum map from your team leader. Make sure you bring a copy of your curriculum map to New Teacher Induction in August.
• Use your team curriculum map to complete this outline for the first unit or the first few weeks of school. Email this to your mentor.
• If you cannot get a copy of a curriculum map for your content area, contact your mentor.
