Blended Math
What is Blended Math?
One way to use blended learning in math is by creating choice boards that align with your math standards. Choice boards allow students to take ownership of their learning by giving them control over their path and pace to complete meaningful activities. This frees you up to invest time and energy into working with individual or small groups of students.
Examples
Choice Boards with One Concept: Take different activities the students used during a specific math concept and put them together in one choice board on that concept.
Choice Boards with Mixed Concepts: Take the current math concept students are learning and add in some other math concepts to review
Project-Based Learning: Have students complete a real-world project to demonstrate learning.
