REVISED CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION
REVISED CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION
Consistency in Implementation: To ensure the curriculum is consistently and accurately implemented across schools and regions, teachers must receive training that provides them with a common understanding of its goals, objectives, and methodologies.
Quality Education Delivery: Proper training ensures that teachers are well-equipped to deliver the curriculum effectively, resulting in improved student outcomes.
Alignment with National Goals: Programmatic Learning and Development activities help teachers align their teaching strategies with the broader goals of the education system, ensuring that students receive an education that prepares them for the challenges of the 21st century.
Assessment and Evaluation: Teachers need to understand how the new curriculum is assessed and evaluated. Training helps them develop appropriate assessment methods and strategies to measure student progress accurately.
Pedagogical Approaches: Teachers are required to attend training and other professional development activities to adapt to the changes due to the revision in the curriculum to deliver instructions effectively.
Direct Training: The Training/Vetted Faculty formed by each region based on the criteria set by NEAP will receive capacity building not only on the revised Curriculum but also on program management and facilitation. The Training Faculty will be the one to train the teachers in school. School, division, and regional contexts and teachers' needs will be primary considerations in the implementation of the program.
Professional Development: Offering training opportunities help the teachers and school leaders stay current in their field and enhance their field and enhance their teaching skills, which benefits both educators and students.
