NEAAPM Virtual Fall and Annual Business Meeting Friday Nov 12, 2021

Dear Colleagues and NEAAPM Members:

Registration is now open for the NEAAPM Fall and Annual Business Meeting on Friday November 12, 2021. This will be another virtual meeting with FREE registration; please register using the Google form linked below. Registration will close at 8am on November 12 and the meeting web link will be sent to all registered participants at that time. Our President-Elect Ileana Iftimia has organized another excellent program with a panel discussion on imaging and treatment modalities for skin cancer and three invited speakers discussing topics such as innovations in brachytherapy, the role of virtual clinical trials, and FLASH radiotherapy. All talks will be delivered live with time for Q&A with the speakers afterwards. There will also be two breaks with messages from our Corporate Members. The NEAAPM will hold its annual Business Meeting at the end of the Fall Meeting, and all NEAAPM members are invited to attend. Minutes from the 2020 Business Meeting are included in the newsletter below along with the Fall Meeting program.

The NEAAPM Fall Meeting is an opportunity for professionals in medical physics to keep up to date on subjects relevant to the field and to interact with colleagues from around the New England area. The meeting is intended for physicists, dosimetrists, therapists and others with an interest in medical physics. It is sponsored by the New England chapter of the AAPM. The NEAAPM is grateful for the continued support received from our Corporate Members. The NEAAPM Fall Meeting has applied to CAMPEP for approval of 4.16 MPCEC hours and 1 SAM credit.
