INTERESTED IN HOSTING A TABLE?
Here is most everything you need to know:
A table request covers (1) 6' table and access to (1) 120 volt AC (standard) outlet. If you need more power than this, please contact the International Night Team here
The food/drink you prepare is considered a donation* and is not a reimbursable expense. There is no fee to participate
Plan on serving sample-size portions. You will be doing the serving at your table, so you control portion size
The estimated number of attendees, on average, has been 200 adults/100 kids. This does not mean every attendee samples at every table, but this gives an idea of "traffic". The '24 event drew 250 adults/160 kids.
If you are hosting a table, you receive 2 tickets to the event. Kids, helpers and other invited guests will need to purchase tickets beyond the 2 ticket allotment per table
Plates (not bowls), glasses, utensils and napkins are provided. In an effort to reduce waste, we ask you to minimize your footprint as much as possible.
Bring your own serving utensils
Chafing dishes and sterno are provided
Decorating your table is encouraged! A plain tablecloth with be provided
We will be publishing a cookbook featuring the cuisines that participated. We ask each participant to contribute at least 1 recipe; please share your recipe(s) here. You do not have to host a table to contribute to the cookbook—please considering sharing a favorite family recipe, (or a few…!)
It is hard to estimate food for a crowd/event like this. Our goal is to minimize food waste as much as possible. In that vein, we will be providing to-go containers at the end of the event for our guests to take home leftovers.
