"Learning Spaces" Instructional Model Taxonomy

Our assignment was to create a taxonomy of the instructional models covered in the course. We were expected to create an artifact that illustrated the taxonomy and to write a report explaining the taxonomy.

You'll find my artifact below. The report is the document title "Rules of Play."

The instructional models and assessments came primarily from the course texts:

  • Barkley, E. F., & Major, C. H. (2016). Learning assessment techniques: A handbook for college faculty. San Francisco, CA: Jossey-Bass.
  • Galbraith, Michael W. (Eds.), Adult Learning Methods: A Guide for Effective Instruction (3rd Ed.). Malabar, FL: Krieger Publishing Company.
  • Tate, M. L. (2012). “Sit and Get” won’t grow dendrites: 20 professional learning strategies that engage the adult brain. (2nd Ed.) Thousand Oaks, CA: Corwin Press.
