Dance captains are the backbone of the team, stepping up as leaders, especially in an advisor's absence. They master the latest choreographies and provide personalized support to teammates. Beyond teaching, they bring their creative vision to life by choreographing routines for yearly dance shows, special events, and community performances.

Kaitlyn H. - Class of 2025
Especially in Mrs. King’s absence, being dance captain was both challenging and fulfilling. I grew tremendously as an individual artist—something I’ll never let go of—but what truly stood out was the joy of guiding and uplifting others, where every moment pushed me to grow as a leader and a person.
Sophia K. - Class of 2026
Being the JV dance captain was an incredible experience that taught me so much about how a team comes together as a whole. This role sharpened my skills in memorizing choreography, assisting others, and leading in Mrs. King's absence. I’m so grateful for the chance to guide and encourage such an incredible group.
