At Notre Dame, diversity is not just a value—it’s a celebration of culture, creativity, and community. Our campus is home to eight vibrant cultural dance groups, offering students the opportunity to audition, perform, and share their heritage through the universal language of dance.
Each year, this spirit comes alive at the Diversity Showcase, featuring vibrant cultural dances, powerful spoken word pieces, traditional Japanese drumming, and an annual fashion show that highlights global styles and traditions.

As part of the South Asian Student Association, Zamana is a Bollywood fusion dance team that brings together dancers from Bellarmine and Notre Dame to perform at showcases across the Bay Area. At the end of the school year, we host Nazaara, our very own charity showcase at Bellarmine, where we raise money for nonprofits we’re passionate about. As a team, we meet weekly to choreograph and learn dances, all while building connections and creating lasting memories together.
