MARCHING BAND
Marching Band is made up of students from Notre Dame College Prep and Resurrection High School. The band performs at all home football and basketball games as well as various community and school events. The band performs music of all genres and styles. They meet every day before school from 7:15 - 7:55AM and on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00PM.

Drumline Auditions
Drumline Auditions
Below you will find audition material for each section of the drumline. Each student planning on being a part of the ND/Res Drumline must audition on the part they wish to play. It is suggested that you audition on more than one part. Parts can be found below.
Symphonic Band continues on past marching season and is made up of the same students from the ND/Res Marching Band. This group plays a variety of music from every era and difficulty. Students can elect to play the same instrument they played while in marching band or switch to a more concert appropriate instrument. Performances by this group include grade school tours, ND and Res school concerts, State of the Art Music Festival, and the Midwest Music Festival.
Students can also elect to enroll in Honors Symphonic Band. This class meets at the same time as Symphonic Band and has a weighted grade meaning that students enrolled in this class have the ability to earn up to a 5.0 on a 4.0 grading scale. Students enrolled in this class are required to take private lessons once a week in addition to completing a service project over the course of the year that enhances the NDCP Bands Program. In order to enroll in Honors Symphonic Band a student must complete and pass an audition for either Mr. Baltzer. Once the audition is passed, a director's referral will be given for the student to be enrolled in the class.

JAZZ BAND
JAZZ BAND
The ND/Res Jazz Band is under the direction of Mr. Baltzer and meets on Wednesdays after school.
This group follows the instrumentation of a New Orleans style brass with some slight modifications. Any student enrolled in Symphonic Band or Honors Symphonic Band is welcome to join! This ensemble performs at a variety of events and venues. Students must be enrolled in Symphonic to participate in this group unless the okay is given by Mr. Baltzer.
