Attend Senior College Night, Financial Aid Night, and the Resurrection/Notre Dame College Fair
Narrow college choices and verify application deadlines
Meet with your counselor and the College & Career Counselor to review your college list, essays, and applications
Request teacher & counselor recommendations in person 3-4 weeks in advance and then in Scoir
Complete the Teacher Letter and Counselor Letter of Rec Form(s)
If required, send standardized test scores to colleges through ACT.org or collegeboard.org
Match your Common Application in Scoir
Pay close attention to application dates and deadlines
Register with NCAA Eligibility Center if you are hoping to play Division I or Division II Athletics
File the FAFSA after October 1st
Track application status for each college and report in Scoir
Prepare for AP exams (if applicable)
Begin to research scholarships on Naviance and on university websites
Work on additional scholarship essays
Continue scholarship search and complete applications
If waitlisted or deferred, continue to send updated transcripts and credentials to the university
Review and compare financial aid packages
Submit housing information
Send deposit to one college by May 1. You can only deposit to ONE school!
Take AP exams, if applicable. Send AP scores to the college you will attend.
Have your final high school transcript sent to the college you will attend
Notify the colleges you will not be attending to withdraw your application
Write a thank you to the faculty who wrote you letters of recommendation and update them on your plans
Notify the College & Career Counselor and/or your Counselor of your final plans
