Junior Year Timeline

August-December: 

• Attend the Resurrection/NDCP Fall College Fair

• Visit college campuses

• Research colleges in Scoir

• Attend College Rep Visits in the College & Career Office

• Take the PSAT/NMSQT in October (registration completed by NDCP)

• Continue to work hard in your academics

January-April:

• Attend Junior College Planning Night 

• Prepare for the ACT/SAT

• Utilize free online test prep through Khan Academy

• Attend the Regina Dominican High School/Notre Dame College Prep Spring College Fair

• Review academic requirements, if looking to attend college

• Select courses & register for Senior year courses

• Schedule your Junior Postsecondary Meeting with the College & Career Counselor (begins after Junior Parent College Night)

May:

• Athletes - register with the NCAA Eligibility Center, if you haven't already

• Take AP exams, if applicable

• Finish Junior year strong!

June-July:

• Continue visiting colleges on your list

• Internship/Summer College Programs

• Review applications for essay/personal statement requirements

• Relax!
