COLLEGE REPS: Please visit SCOIR to register for a visit to NDCP!

STUDENTS: Every fall, college representatives join the Dons to discuss and recruit students to attend universities across the country and around the world. Visits will kickoff in September.

Students who register for the rep visit on SCOIR will receive a pass in their first period class excusing them for the scheduled rep visit. The student is responsible for any missed classwork. 

Attending college visits are highly encouraged! Typically, this representative will be one of the individuals who will read a student's college application. 

Questions to ask College Representatives:

Admission:

• What are the admission requirements?

• Does the school admit students based on GPA? Test scores? Academic credits required?

• How important are recommendations and personal statements? 

Academics:

• Does the school offer majors of interest to you?

• What opportunities are there for research or study abroad?

• Are there internships or co-ops to join?

Application:

• When should I apply for admission?

• What percentage of applicants are admitted?

Standardized Tests:

• Is the school test-optional?

• What is the average range of test scores for entering college Freshmen?

• Should I submit AP scores during the application process?

Financial Aid/Cost:

• What is the estimated annual total cost?

• What are the sources of financial aid and scholarships?

Housing:

• How difficult is it to get on-campus housing?

• How and when do I apply for housing?

• What percentage of students live on campus?

• Are there separate residences for freshmen?
