Mock Trial

I have been a member of Notre Dame Mock Trial since my sophomore year and have competed on the competition team every year. During my time with the team, I have worked on two state-issued mock cases (1 civil, 1 criminal). My competitive roles have included civil defense attorney and the lead prosecution attorney. Mock Trial has given me a better understanding of the American legal system, as well as more confidence in my public speaking and writing abilities.

The biggest part of my role in ND Mock Trial has been working with the witnesses on the writing and preparation of numerous speeches and lines of questioning. Below are the speeches that I have constructed for competition.
