Veedback: Student Survey

Survey results (n = 1) were particular to an iphone recorded video used to provide feedback on an assignment. The student responded by indicating that they enjoyed the video feedback and that it "provided a warm touchpoint" with the faculty. The student also indicated that they liked the ease of being able to replay the video, and she emphasized that she felt that the comments "went deeper" than traditional paper comments.

Finally, the student suggested that perhaps students could respond to the feedback with their own video response as a way to obtain more engagement as opposed to "glancing at the professor's comments and not internalizing them." If a response is desired, perhaps a quick phone recording is not the best platform. Flipgrid may be an option here.
