This page is intended to help faculty and staff learn how to use specific tech tools to support teaching and learning. Click the link to learn more about a tech tool. More tech tips will be added as soon as I can find the time; this will be an ongoing project, so feel free to make some suggestions for what I should cover.
This link will take you to a page with tutorials on how to use Google Calendar to manage your schedule, invite people to Google Meets, create and invite people to events, share calendars, or schedule appointments. This is a great tool to make sure you don't miss meetings (or people don't miss yours!) or wind up double-booked for meetings. We currently use Google Calender to sign up for time in the library.
WeVideo is a great resource for creating and editing videos for class. If you're a teacher, there is also a classroom feature that enables you to create and push out assignments. Students can then collaborate on videos. Click here to learn more. The library pays for a number of licenses for students and teachers each year, so use your Google account to sign in.
