The NCUHS Mobile Mug is proud to host our 1st Pet Food Drive to support local animals in need. From March 3rd through June 12th, we are collecting dry food, wet food, and treats for cats and dogs in our community.
All donations will benefit our local animal shelter, Pope Memorial and the Felines & Friends Foundation, helping provide comfort, care, and full bellies to pets waiting for their forever homes.
Together, we can make a small act of kindness go a long way — because every paw deserves love.

Breast Cancer Awareness
The Mobile Mug earned $500 in donations from delivering cookies and muffins to staff at the High School, Career Center and Central office.
Thank you all for your generosity as The Mobile Mug presented Daniele Jaminet with a check today to help her with her own battle of fighting breast cancer.

NEWPORT CITY- The North Country Union High School (NCUHS) board learned about the Life Skills program’s Mobile Mug Coffee Shop at a recent school board meeting, Diane Tutko briefly outlined the program, which the students started this year.
According to a summary of the project, the Mobile Mug Coffee Shop is “an innovative project from the school’s math-programming, will offer delicious hot chocolate, coffee, and baked goods for sale. This initiative not only provides practical learning experiences for students but also contributes to the event’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.”
Coffee and treats may be the visual focal point, but the purpose of the Mobile Mug serves as a reminder that inclusion is valued and practiced at the school. The Mobile Mug welcomes students of all abilities to take part in meaningful roles.
The students have had an opportunity to meet Governor Phil Scott and introduce him to the Life Skills program. They also visited the North Country Supervisory Union office and served coffee and treats. Tutko said the Mobile Mug program will be expanded to include other schools.
