Appealing Your Award

Did you know that you can appeal your financial aid award? This means you are asking the school's financial aid counselors to take another look at your FAFSA (and any other information you provide them), in hopes that you may be eligible for more money!

Step 1: Contact the financial aid office of the college(s) you wish to request an appeal from

Step 2: Collect all the necessary documentation for your specific circumstance that will aid you in the appeal process (financial aid counselors can help you determine what you will need)

Step 3: Submit appeal request and documentation. Keep contact with financial aid and check your email daily.
