I am a second-year master's student in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University. My course combination includes forestry (Forest biometrics) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). My research focuses on developing models to understand carbon contributions within forested wetland ecosystems using structures from motion (SfM) and LiDAR. I am hoping that my research informs decisions on developing better carbon budgets that will help us understand the role of wetlands as GHG sinks or sources in future climate scenarios. I had a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Planning from Lagos State University, Nigeria. Aside from research, I like meeting new people, learning about new things, exploring, and a little bit of seeing movies.
