I worked as an independent Business Development Consultant for Mimetics from January 2022-August 2022, continuing my internship that occurred from June 2021-July 2021. Mimetics is a contract research organization (CRO) that performs transcriptional analysis for microbial fermentations and other biotechnology processes. I specifically worked in potential client outreach, making connections with companies that perform microbial fermentation.
From February 2021-July 2021, I worked as a Marketing Manager/Intern at Innatrix, an early stage agricultural biotechnology company. I worked on digital marketing for the company's fundraising efforts.
From August to November 2020, I worked as an intern at the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service. I worked on creating marketing materials for a new initiative and conducting background research for a novel internship program.
From September 2018 to May 2020, I worked as an undergraduate researcher at Rutgers University's School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. I worked under Dr. Max Häggblom, who was involved in various environmental microbiology studies including biodegradation of pharmaceuticals and personal care products, microbial dehalogenation of marine pollutants, and microbial ecology of tundra soils.
In June 2017, I worked as a laboratory assistant at Rutgers University's School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. I specifically worked in the Department of Plant Pathology and Virology.
