What is this? A Bitmoji classroom is an interactive "classroom" that students can use for asynchronous/remote learning. I know in my experience they became very popular during the pandemic because teachers only had virtual classes. I think that students really enjoy these classrooms because it brings to life the virtual classroom. Also, it is kind of like a scavenger hunt by having all of the "hidden" links.
My Bitmoji classroom is for 3rd-grade students learning expanded form addition. Students start by clicking the instructions that my Bitmoji is holding. This is hyperlinked to a Google Doc that guides students through the lesson. Other items that are linked in my classroom are the video lesson, notes, practice problems, a check your understanding, a calculator, and a Padlet for students to turn work in to.
