Research and Studies

I worked with Dr. Marcela Rojas-Pierce in her lab as an undergraduate research assistant in the Plant and Microbial Biology department. I studied the dynamics of vacuole fusion in plant stomata using Arabidopsis stomatal peels and young roots, viewing them under a LSM980 Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope. I presented my findings at the Undergraduate Research Symposium in April 2023, shown below.
