Justine Hollingshead has over 30 years of success working as an administrator in higher education on various college campuses across the country, in addition to the business sector as well. She offers particular expertise in emergency preparedness and crisis response, event planning, training, leadership, and administration. Justine has been involved with non-profit organizations and is committed to community service. She is a certified Small Unmanned Aircraft System (drone) pilot with the Federal Aviation Administration. Ms. Hollingshead is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician in the state of North Carolina, has done medical service work nationally and internationally, and is a FEMA facilitator for Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) and Until Help Arrives. Justine is a part of a team of instructors who created and teach an emergency preparedness and crisis response graduate class at NC State.
Dr. Monica Osburn

Dr. Osburn's interests include working with trauma survivors as well as adolescent sex offenders. She has a long history of working with the cycle of abuse as it relates to both physical and sexual trauma. Monica is also interested in the mind-body connection and how to work with anxiety and depression through self-care. Dr. Osburn is one of the leading experts in the country on postvention and helped to develop the Higher Education Mental Health Alliance (HEMHA) guide for response to suicide on college campuses.
Ms. Angel Bowers

Angel Bowers is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She has worked in college counseling for 20 years and has been a member of the Wolfpack for 14 years. Angel previously served in a dual position with the Counseling Center and Prevention Services but started her new role as Director of Prevention Services in January 2021. She is also the co-advisor for the Mental Health Ambassadors. Angel’s professional interests include eating disorders/body positivity, IPV, trauma, equity/inclusion and prevention education. Angel earned her Masters in Counselor Education from Wake Forest University and prior to NC State worked in the Wake Forest University and Meredith College Counseling Centers.

With extensive experience in emergency preparedness, and health and safety, Amy employs practical strategies that extend creativity into programming, to manage beyond compliance and build long-standing partnerships.
Amy maintains professional certifications in technical safety and has earned numerous awards in health, safety, and emergency management with campus, national, and international partners. She is an adjunct professor in the College of Education at NC State and serves on international safety working groups.

Dr. Donna McGalliard was tapped to lead a newly created Office of Student Life and Advocacy. The office brings together three units: Student Leadership and Engagement, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Resiliency and Community Support. Donna is active in regional and national student housing organizations, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her position. Most recently, she served as the 2018 President of the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, the regional association for housing organizations. She has decades of experience in Student Affairs, Housing, Residence Life, and emergency response.
