Our slogan "Explore Careers Beyond..." is a statement of our mission: to explore beyond what we already know, investigate career pathways, and dream beyond the boundaries placed upon us. It is important for our mentees and mentors to challenge themselves to always learn something new. When you look beyond, you will always find more than before.

Our vision is to create a global community of learners, mentors, and professionals who collaborate, inspire, and drive the advancement of STEM. By highlighting the different pathways available within STEM, we aim to challenge stereotypes, break down barriers, and inspire individuals from various backgrounds to pursue their passions with confidence. We pave the way for a world where every aspiring scientist, technologist, engineer, and mathematician has the resources and inspiration needed to thrive.
Goals
Explore specific areas of knowledge within STEM fields
Increase specific student knowledge of STEM careers
Prepare students for post-high school life (college and career preparation)
Empower students to see themselves as STEM professionals.
Increase mentor and mentee’s social sphere of influence
Increase confidence in mentors seeing themselves as leaders
Develop an identity and sense of belonging in STEM fields
How We Meet
Students and mentors connect virtually via Zoom, utilizing a small group model to foster meaningful interactions. Sessions feature discussions, peer support, and engaging activities that cover a wide range of topics, including academic and personal well-being, identity development, college and vocational guidance, career and skills development, and hands-on STEM experiences. Grouped with STEM professionals, students will have opportunities to delve into their interests and expand their horizons.
