親愛的洛麗中文學校學生家長們 / Dear RCLS families.

由於中文學校租借場所 Greenwood Forest Baptist Church 空調系統修繕進度延遲， 教會無法在八月如期開放場地給外部團體使用，因此洛麗中文學校秋季班開學日將從原本的 08/16 延期至 09/06。原行事曆上八月的兩次語言課程四小時， 以及文化課程 2 小時時數，將以開學後 11 週， 每週語言課延長 20 分鐘上課，文化課上課延長 10 分鐘來補足。由於事發突然， 造成大家不便之處， 還請大家見諒。

Due to Greenwood Forest Baptist Church where RCLS campus is at is undergoing HVAC repair, the entire facility will not be ready for August operation. Therefore the 1st day of RCLS fall semester is now set back to 09/06. To make up for the 2 August school days, we will do a 20 minutes Mandarin class extension and a 10 minutes culture class extension for 11 weeks starting on 09/06. Because this delayed fall semester operation is not in our plan, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused to the RCLS families.

也由於場地使用次數限制， 校方將不舉辦新生說明會。 有興趣上課的新生可以免費旁聽一次課程 ( 請事先 E-mail 教務組 academic.affairs@ncrcls.education)， 旁聽新生家長們歡迎到辦公室找校長和教務主任瞭解學校辦學狀況。

Also because of the limited facility usage time in September, we will not be able to hold new family orientation this fall. Parents who are interested in having their students attending RCLS can either register the students directly or have the students attend a free trial lesson on the 1st or 2nd school day (please contact Academic Affairs in advance: academic.affairs@ncrcls.education). Parents of the new students are welcome to talk to the principal and the director of academic affairs in the office about school operation.
