This course is self-paced. An instructor can answer your questions or concerns via your CANVAS inbox. An important part of this course is sharing resources with colleagues. To that end, it is recommended that teachers work with members of their PLC. To earn CEU credit each member should register for the course and submit their work. PLC members can work together to create multiple resources for the team to use during the school year.
This course was created to introduce components of differentiation as it applies to curriculum and classroom activities. Within the 5 modules are activities for learning about the topic and activities that can be done in the classroom. CEU credit can be earned by submitting a lesson plan that integrates strategies from the module and an example of the work your students did when the lesson plan was implemented in addition to the submission of a Professional Development Survey at the end of the course.
Ideally, this course can be done by a PLC group. Each participant enrolls and submits their own work but the PLC works together to complete the activities and create lesson plans that can be used in the classroom immediately. 2.0 CEU
This course is designed to help you explore the use of a variety of applications to create collaborative activities that will engage your students toward a successful mastery of curriculum standards. You will have the flexibility to choose the applications you would like to use with your students. You decide how and when to integrate the collaborative activities.
You are expected to choose four different applications, write a lesson plan for each application, implement the lesson plan, then share the lesson plan and example(s) of student work that resulted from the collaboration. 1 CEU
