Steps for Getting an Ad

1️⃣ Design your Ad (see video and instructions below). Use the sizing in the chart HERE. 

                  Note: All ads must be in full color, high resolution 300dpi, and PDF or PNG format.

Save your ad as: [First and Last name]_[Size of ad] (e.g., Oz Smith_Quarter)

2️⃣  Pay for your Ad on www.myschoolbucks.com (Search "Musical") or click HERE (must sign into MySchoolBucks to access direct link)

3️⃣  Email saxetheaterads@gmail.com attach the following: 1) the designed ad based on parameters and 2) your MySchoolBuck receipt, no later than October 10th.

Designing your Ad

It’s super easy.  If you don’t know where to start, all you need is a free account at Canva.com. You can also make your ad in word or ppt if you feel comfortable.

Here are some hints:

• You don’t need to follow the stylic suggestions she makes in the tutorial--she made the tutorial when the HS was doing Into the Woods and they were going for an antiqued look. For Aladdin Jr, some may choose to include that theme into their ad. There are LOTS of free photos, backgrounds, and illustrations under the “elements” tab. Also, if you want to, you can “upload” any photos you want to use to Canva to add in as well. 

• Use the sizes detailed on the Ad Info Sheet.

• When you are finished with your ad, download it from Canva on the upper right corner. Choose PNG (high quality image) preferred or a JPG. Save your ad as: [First and Last name]_[Size of ad] (e.g., Oz Smith_Quarter)
