It truly takes a village to pull these musicals off. Thank you for your willingness to support your kids!
What are the parent obligations?
Based on the cast sizing, we're asking you to chaperone a minimum of 2 rehearsals leading up to the dress rehearsal week. We will send out a Sign Up Genius so that you can sign up for dates that work for you.
How else can parents help?
We'd LOVE some help to either chair or be part of a committee. There are a number of committees:
Graphic Designer - design flyers/posters and put together the virtual program.
Advertising - sell ads to businesses and track orders/ads for program
PR/Publicity - advertise the show in local papers and distribute posters
Photographers (2) - take headshots first two weeks of rehearsals and take photos during dress rehearsal
Costumes & Make-up - coordinate volunteers to assist with costumes, hair and make-up
Treasurer - provides financial oversight by managing financial reports, consolidates all reimbursements requests/forms from coordinators and submits them to the Visual and Performing Arts Office.
Concessions - buy concession items and sell during show
Flowers - order/assemble and sell flowers during shows
Lobby Decorations - Decorate lobby prior to shows
Company Party (4 people) - plan party for the kids after the final show
Usher/Backstage - during the performances, coordinate usher and backstage volunteers
