Hello! My name is Mrs. Chriscoe, and I’m an art teacher with a passion for inspiring creativity in students from kindergarten through middle school. Art has always been a big part of my life, and I love sharing that joy with my students every day. Whether we’re exploring painting, drawing, sculpture, or digital media, I believe every child is an artist with their own unique voice waiting to be discovered.
In my classroom, I focus on making art both fun and meaningful. My lessons often weave together creativity, history, and personal expression so students can see how art connects to their own lives as well as the world around them. I also enjoy creating resources for other teachers, developing lessons, presentations, and activities that bring art education to life.
Each year, I host a K–8 art show where families can celebrate their children’s work in a gallery-style display. It’s one of my favorite traditions and a wonderful way to highlight the talent and imagination of our students.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new art techniques, spending time with my family, and caring for my animals. Teaching art isn’t just my career—it’s truly my passion, and I’m grateful for the chance to help students grow, create, and shine.
