Our art classroom is a space where creativity, curiosity, and imagination come to life! Every student, from kindergarten through 8th grade, is an artist here. We celebrate all styles of creativity, and students are encouraged to take risks, try new techniques, and express their unique ideas. I'm looking forward to another year with all our amazing young artists!
Our room is set up like a working studio, with a variety of materials and tools available for students to explore. From paints and pencils to clay and digital tools, each project gives students the chance to experiment and discover their favorite ways to create.
In addition to hands-on projects, we also learn about art history, famous artists, and the elements and principles of design. Students make connections between their own lives, culture, and the wider world—seeing how art has always been a part of human expression.
We proudly display student artwork throughout the school year, and every spring our annual K–8 Art Show brings families together to celebrate the creativity of all our students. Every child has work featured in this event—it’s a highlight of the year!
Respect, responsibility, and safety are at the heart of our classroom. Students learn how to share materials, care for our space, and encourage each other as artists. Together, we create not just artwork, but a supportive and inspiring community.
Thanks for stopping by!
